Tarot – from the Romany to the Adept
Consisting of 78 timeless images, the cards are symbols which can silently guide us through life.
This talk, and the accompanying workshop, will reveal how easy it is to learn the symbolism of the tarot.
The Mystery Schools delved deeper into the art of the Tarot using it to interpret one’s spiritual heritage, karmic past and to unveil future incarnations.
Tarot speaks the language of the Soul, reflects our inner emotions, and reveals future trends and the Mystic chooses which path to tread…
Maria has been reading the tarot for over 30 years and will be available for readings

About Maria
Maria is an author, paranormal investigator, experienced dowser, astrologer and a guide who lives near the ancient megalithic site of Avebury.
In conjunction with her partner, Busty Taylor, she runs courses, and tours which take in Stonehenge, Avebury and other equally fascinating places.
The daughter of a Master Dowser, Denis Wheatley, Maria has been keen to carry on his work in order to prove beyond reasonable doubt – to sceptics and the archaeological community alike – that powerful lines of force and mysterious earth energy geometries exist.
Using sensitive measuring equipment, they believe that they have established that standing stones emit a form of energy, which can also be readily detected with a dowsing instrument.
As well dowsing, which Maria teaches, for the last 15 years she has run workshops on Tarot at Swindon College and other places. Maria is joint author of ‘Avebury – Sun, Moon and Earth’ published by Wessex Books.

Hi there – I was wondering what will be going on at the gathering apart from speakers, please? Has anything else been arranged? Any entertainment, healing, night time socialising, stalls, a fire around which people can gather to play their guitar, tell stories, chat, community building… a.s.o. Or do people do that for themselves? Thank you. Helle

Hi Helle, there is a firepit for people to socialise around
there are stalls at the event
We had planned to have a healing tent, but it looks as if the person is not going to be able to come
On each evening there will be something a bit more informal from the speakers
Thursday evening, is open mic for people to step up and have their say
